Vitube Flexible Viton Tubing
Viton™ tubing is made from 100 % pure high-performance Viton synthetic rubber, delivering exceptional chemical and fluid resistance that outperforms most other elastomers. It maintains its mechanical properties over a broad temperature range offering continuous service up to approximately 400 °F (and periodic tolerance even higher)—while resisting oils, fuels, lubricants, mineral acids, and many hydrocarbons that typically degrade standard rubber materials. Viton also exhibits excellent resistance to environmental aging from sunlight and ozone. Available in multiple durometers, Viton tubing is engineered to handle demanding fluid transfer, high-temperature, and chemical environments across a wide range of industrial and process applications
Features
- Made of 100% pure Viton, a high-performance synthetic rubber
- Excellent temperature resistance: -25°F (Type B) / -7°F (Type A) to 400°F continuously; 600°F periodically
- Offers the widest range of fluid and chemical resistance of any commercial rubber
- Excellent resistance to oils, fuels, lubricants, and most mineral acids
- Also resistant to many aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons such as carbon tetrachloride, benzene, toluene, and xylene
- Excellent resistance to environmental exposure such as sunlight and ozone
- Available in 60 and 75 Shore A durometers (Type B and Type A)
Applications
Pharma & Biopharma:
Viton™ tubing for chemical processing and transfer, solvent handling, peristaltic pump lines, pharmaceutical utility fluid transfer, and sealing applications such as O-rings in controlled manufacturing and laboratory environments.
Other Industries:
Appliances, automotive fluid systems, fuel and oil lines, hot lubrication circuits, cable jacketing, engine compartments, heaters, extreme temperature environments, model engine exhaust systems, and general industrial sealing.
